  • 4 oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts or 2 lb chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil plus 2 tbsp additional if using stovetop
  • 1 medium Lemon zested and juiced; 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine lemon juice, zest, garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook the chicken on stovetop or grill until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  • Let rest for a few minutes, then serve with lemon slices if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon slices during cooking or garnish before serving.
