  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Flavorings

  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Chop garlic and parsley.
  • Heat oil in skillet, season chicken, and sear 5-7 mins per side.
  • Add garlic, sauté 30 sec, then pour in lemon juice and broth.
  • Stir in butter until melted, simmer 5-10 mins until thickened.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
