Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 for optimal flavor)

Sauces & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Aromatics

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)

Vegetables & Garnish

  • 2 green onions green onions (chopped, plus extra for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice (jasmine, basmati, or brown rice)
  • Optional toppings (sesame seeds, sliced cucumber, kimchi, or pickled vegetables)
  • Vegetables bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, or spinach
  • 1 egg fried egg (for added richness)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • While beef cooks, prepare rice and vegetables.
  • Serve beef over rice, top with chopped green onions, and add a fried egg on top. Garnish with optional toppings.

Notes

Use leaner beef for a healthier option or add more vegetables for extra nutrients.
