Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 lb flank steak or boneless short ribs, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Corn

  • 2 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or chili powder

Creamy Sauce

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp gochujang or Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds (optional)

For serving

  • to taste Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions
 

  • Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Marinate beef for 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Mix mayonnaise, gochujang, and lime juice; chill until ready.
  • Sauté corn with butter and paprika until golden, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Sear marinated beef in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized.
  • Assemble bowls with rice or noodles, topped with beef, corn, and sauce. Garnish with green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight. Adjust spice levels to taste.
