Chicken

  • 6 pieces chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • optional Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and ginger to make marinade.
  • Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Sear chicken skin-side down in a skillet for 5-7 minutes, then flip and pour marinade over.
  • Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through, basting halfway.
