  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenderloins the star of the show!
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce use low-sodium to control salt level
  • 1/3 cup honey nature’s sweetener
  • 4 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar adds brightness
  • 1 tablespoon ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch helps to thicken the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil adds a nutty aroma
  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil for pan-frying
  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish, optional
  • to taste green onions for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken tenderloins dry and place in a bowl.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and sesame oil to make the glaze.
  • Marinate chicken in half of the glaze for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and cook chicken tenders until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Add remaining glaze to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, then serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate longer if time allows.
