Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 8 pieces chicken thighs (skinless and boneless)
  • 2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 110 g honey
  • 80 ml chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes

Additional

  • as needed boiled rice

Instructions
 

  • Coat chicken with cornflour, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden, then set aside.
  • Melt butter, add garlic, then prepare the sauce with honey, stock, vinegar, and soy.
  • Add sauce to pan, simmer until thickened and chicken is cooked through.
  • Sprinkle parsley and chilli flakes, serve over boiled rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in some soy sauce before cooking.
