Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and season chicken with spices.
Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown, then set aside.
Toast rice in the same pan for 1-2 minutes, then add broth, BBQ sauce, and honey.
Return chicken to the pan, bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes.
Add mixed vegetables, cover, and cook for 5 more minutes until rice is tender.
Let sit for 5 minutes, fluff rice, garnish, and serve hot!
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a few hours before cooking.
