Instructions
Activate yeast in warm water with sugar for 5 minutes until frothy.
Mix yeast mixture with flour, salt, garlic, herbs, olive oil, and knead into a smooth dough. Let rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide dough into 8 strips and shape into breadsticks.
Place breadsticks on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dough.
