Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Mix blackberries with sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice; set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir in milk and vanilla to make batter.
Pour melted butter into dish, then add batter without stirring.
Spread blackberry mixture over batter; do not mix.
Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly; cool slightly before serving.
