Ingredients
  

Dairy

  • 1 ½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream, chilled
  • 8 ounces Mascarpone Cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Beverage

  • 1 ½ cups Strong Brewed Coffee or Espresso, cooled completely
  • 2-3 tablespoons Coffee Liqueur (Optional)

Cookies

  • About 24 pieces Ladyfinger Cookies (Savoiardi)
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, for dusting
  • Chocolate Shavings or Curls, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Beat chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside.
  • Mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.
  • Combine cooled coffee and optional liqueur. Dip ladyfingers briefly and layer in cups.
  • Layer mascarpone cream over ladyfingers, repeat layers, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

Ensure mascarpone is at room temperature for easier mixing.
