Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef

Vegetables

  • 4-5 medium potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup milk optional
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Garnish

  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Thinly slice the potatoes to ¼-inch thickness.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef, season, and cook until browned.
  • Layer half of the potatoes, beef, and cheese in a greased baking dish, then pour broth (and milk, if using) over the top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, then uncover, top with Parmesan, and bake for 10 more minutes.

Notes

Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.
