Ingredients
  

Streusel Topping

  • 50 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50 g unsalted butter, melted

Cinnamon Sugar Ribbon

  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Loaf Cake Base

  • 300 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Wet Ingredients

  • 150 g light-tasting oil
  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250 g buttermilk

Icing

  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 1 ¼ tsp milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon for streusel; stir in melted butter. Set aside.
  • Combine brown sugar and cinnamon for ribbon; set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); line loaf pan with parchment.
  • Mix dry ingredients; whisk oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Fold in dry ingredients.
  • Pour half batter into pan, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, add remaining batter, then streusel. Bake 45 mins, cool, then drizzle icing.

Notes

Ensure the loaf is fully cooled before adding the icing for best presentation.
