4largeleaves of romaine or red leaf lettuce
1teaspoonavocado oil or olive oilfor lightly brushing
1tablespoonlime juicefreshly squeezed
0.25cupquartered cherry tomatoes
0.25cupthinly sliced scallions or red onion
0.5cupfresh cilantrolightly packed and finely chopped
1clovegarlicgrated or finely crushed
0.5teaspoonkosher salt
0.25teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Mash the avocado flesh with lime juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and cilantro until smooth and thick.
Warm tortillas briefly in a dry pan or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
Spread avocado mixture onto the center of each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border.
Add lettuce leaves, sliced turkey, cherry tomatoes, and scallions on top of the spread.
Fold the sides inward, then roll from the bottom to seal the wrap tightly. Sear in a hot skillet with lightly brushed oil until golden and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
Slice diagonally and serve immediately with your favorite side.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or hot sauce before serving.
