Ingredients
  

Potatoes and Cauliflower

  • 3 pcs russet potatoes (peeled and quartered)
  • 1 head cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter (unsalted)
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Vegetables and Beef

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion yellow onion (finely diced)
  • teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms (minced)
  • 1 carrot carrot (peeled and finely diced)
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • tablespoons tomato paste
  • tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Boil potatoes and cauliflower until fork-tender, then mash with milk, butter, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, sauté onions with salt, then add mushrooms and carrots, cooking until tender. Brown ground beef with salt, garlic, and onion powders, then add broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire, and rosemary. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in frozen peas, then spread mashed potatoes and cauliflower over the filling. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  • Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can broil the top for 2-3 minutes for extra browning.
