plain yogurt or sour cream
thinned with buttermilk

cider vinegar

canola or vegetable oil

curry powder

granulated garlic

kosher salt
or 1 1/2 teaspoons regular salt

ground cayenne pepper or sriracha

ground ginger or grated ginger root
Instructions
Add all ingredients except chicken to a bag or bowl and mix to make marinade.
Pat chicken dry, cut into two even pieces lengthwise, and place in marinade. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat grill to high and oil racks. Remove chicken from marinade, shake off excess, and place on grill.
Grill covered for 4 minutes, flip, and cook until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Transfer to a platter, tent with foil, and serve.
Notes
Ensure chicken is cooked to the proper internal temperature for safety.
