Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

Dairy

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Broth

  • 2 cups chicken broth

Herbs & Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook rice with chicken broth until rice is tender.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until creamy, then add shrimp back and season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon before serving.
