Ingredients

Salmon Fillets

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless Salmon Fillets

Flour Mixture

  • 40 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder EACH
  • 1 tsp Salt plus more to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper plus more to taste
  • 0.5 tbsp Olive Oil

Butter and Garlic

  • 90 g Unsalted Butter divided into tbsp chunks
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely diced

Liquid and Herbs

  • 120 ml Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley finely diced
  • 1 lemon Lemon divided into 4 wedges

Instructions

  • Mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. Coat each salmon fillet and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry fillets for 3 mins per side until golden. Add 1 tbsp butter and baste for 1 min. Remove and set aside.
  • Add garlic to the pan and cook until lightly browned. Pour in stock, scraping up flavor. Whisk in remaining butter until sauce thickens. Add parsley and season with salt and pepper.
  • Return salmon to pan, baste with sauce, and cook for a few minutes until heated through. Serve with lemon wedges and extra sauce.

Notes

Ensure not to burn the garlic to avoid bitterness. Baste the salmon regularly for maximum flavor.
