Instructions
Warm milk, then combine with sugar and yeast; let sit 7–10 min to activate.
Add melted butter, egg, yolk, flour, and salt; knead until smooth, then shape into a ball.
Let dough rise in a warm spot until doubled, about 1–2 hours.
Roast garlic bulbs at 400°F for 30–40 min, cool, then squeeze out cloves and make a paste.
Roll out dough, spread with garlic paste, sprinkle parsley, salt, pepper, and cheese, then roll into a log and cut into 9 pieces.
Place rolls in a parchment-lined dish, let rise 1–2 hours, then bake at 350°F for 30–35 min until golden.
Notes
Brush with garlic butter immediately after baking for extra flavor.
