Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Butter

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Pasta

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine

Cheese

  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Cream

  • 0.5 cup heavy cream

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare ingredients: mince garlic and cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cook chicken in 2 tablespoons of butter until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Add garlic, salt, and pepper, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in heavy cream and remaining butter, then add parmesan cheese to create the sauce.
  • Cook pasta al dente, reserve pasta water before draining.
  • Combine pasta with chicken and sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.

Notes

Reserve some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
