Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 lb 90/10 lean ground beef

Rice

  • 2 cups long-grain white rice rinsed

Broth

  • 3 cups beef bone broth

Garlic

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

Butter

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Soy Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Salt

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Vegetable Oil

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Scallions

  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice in beef broth until tender, then let stand.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Add garlic to beef, sauté briefly, then stir in butter and soy sauce.
  • Mix cooked rice into the skillet, coating evenly with garlic butter sauce.
  • Garnish with scallions and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of sesame oil or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
