Ingredients
  

Meat and Grain

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice (long grain or jasmine)

Aromatics and Dairy

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Seasonings and Garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet; season with salt and pepper, then remove.
  • Sauté garlic in remaining butter until fragrant, then add rice and toast.
  • Pour in beef broth, simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender (15-18 mins).
  • Stir in heavy cream, cheddar, and parmesan until melted and creamy.
  • Return beef to skillet, mix, and simmer 2-3 mins. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh parsley for best flavor and adjust seasoning to taste.
