Garlic Beef Noodle Bowls

Ingredients
  

Noodles

  • 8 oz udon, lo mein, linguine etc
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound skirt steak cut into thin strips
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil; set aside.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add beef strips; cook 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Add garlic and ginger; cook 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in soy sauce mixture; simmer 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add cooked noodles; stir to coat with sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef in some soy sauce before cooking.
