Ingredients
  

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water

Instructions
 

  • Activate the yeast in warm water with sugar for 5 minutes.
  • Mix flour, salt, and yeast mixture. Add olive oil and knead for 10 minutes.
  • Let dough rise in a greased bowl for 20 minutes.
  • Transfer dough to a baking sheet, shape, and dimple with fingers.
  • Let dough rise again for 10 minutes, then bake at 425°F for 20 minutes.

Notes

Enhance with rosemary, garlic, or cheese for extra flavor.
