  • 2 ripe bananas bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Additional

  • Cooking oil or spray for the griddle
  • Chocolate chips or berries for mixing in (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Mash bananas, then mix with egg, milk, syrup, and vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then add to wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips or berries if desired.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-low heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
  • Cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden and bubbles form. Flip carefully.
  • Serve warm with toppings like sliced bananas, syrup, or cinnamon.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or top with fresh berries.
