Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt Maldon Sea Salt Flakes
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 packet
  • 1 3/4 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil plus more for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or dried

Instructions
 

  • Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and honey. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • Mix the dough by combining flour, salt, yeast mixture, and olive oil. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer the dough to a baking pan and create dimples with your fingers.
  • Add toppings like cherry tomatoes, garlic, or rosemary. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, bake the focaccia for an additional 5 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
