Instructions
Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and honey. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
Mix the dough by combining flour, salt, yeast mixture, and olive oil. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer the dough to a baking pan and create dimples with your fingers.
Add toppings like cherry tomatoes, garlic, or rosemary. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra crispy crust, bake the focaccia for an additional 5 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
