Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 0.5 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2.5-3 cups all-purpose flour Add gradually to form dough
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tsp minced garlic (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Activate yeast by mixing warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5-10 min until frothy.
  • Add olive oil, yogurt, and egg to yeast mixture; whisk well.
  • Mix in flour and salt gradually until a shaggy dough forms; add more flour if needed.
  • Knead dough 8-10 min until smooth; let rise 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
  • Divide dough, shape into circles or ovals, brush with melted butter (garlic optional), and rest 15-20 min.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 min until golden; cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with herbs or cheese before baking.
