Ingredients
  

Dried Fruit and Nuts

  • 1 cup mixed dried fruit
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix dry ingredients, then cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry, then fold in dried fruit and nuts.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Cool cookies on wire rack before serving.
