Easy 30-Minute Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Stir in oil and beaten egg.
  • Add flour and salt gradually; mix to form dough.
  • Knead on floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  • Divide into 15 pieces, shape into rolls, and let rise 10 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Notes

For softer rolls, brush with butter after baking.
