Instructions
Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
Stir in oil and beaten egg.
Add flour and salt gradually; mix to form dough.
Knead on floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
Divide into 15 pieces, shape into rolls, and let rise 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Notes
For softer rolls, brush with butter after baking.
