Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste Salt and black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (to thicken, optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pound chicken to even thickness and pat dry.
  • Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices in a bowl.
  • Whisk eggs and milk; dip chicken in flour, then egg wash, then flour again.
  • Fry chicken in hot oil at 350°F for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  • Simmer honey, soy, and vinegar; add cornstarch slurry to thicken if desired.
  • Drizzle honey glaze over chicken and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure oil is at the right temperature for crispy coating.
