  • 4 fillets salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and ginger to make the glaze.
  • Pat salmon dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear in olive oil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip salmon, pour half the glaze over it, and transfer to the oven to bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Brush with more glaze if desired, garnish, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate in the glaze for 30 minutes before cooking.
