Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Garlic

  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

Sesame Oil

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

Soy Sauce

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

Honey

  • 2 tbsp pure honey

Sesame Seeds

  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Green Onions

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Serving

  • cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients: chop garlic and green onions. Set aside.
  • Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and garlic. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook the chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through (5-7 minutes per side).
  • Create the sauce: Pour leftover marinade into the skillet after cooking chicken and simmer until thickened (3-5 minutes).
  • Add sesame seeds: Stir in toasted sesame seeds just before serving. Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, pat the chicken dry before cooking, and ensure the skillet is hot before adding the chicken.
