Avocado

  • 1 medium avocado, mashed

  • ½ cup cottage cheese (full-fat recommended)

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, mash the avocado and mix in lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using.
