Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture. Gently fold in blackberries.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor, incorporate lemon zest and juice or grated zucchini for extra moisture.
