Sauces & Sweeteners

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat with cornstarch.
  • Fry chicken until crispy and cooked through, then set aside.
  • In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Simmer briefly.
  • Mix water with cornstarch to make a slurry, then add to the sauce and cook until thickened.
  • Return chicken to the sauce, toss to coat, and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double coat the chicken with cornstarch before frying.
