Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, water, salt, and pepper until the sugar dissolves.
Slice cucumbers and red onion thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife.
In a large bowl, combine the cucumbers, red onion, and dill.
Pour the vinegar mixture over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the salad marinate longer in the refrigerator. Adjust the amount of dill to your taste.
