Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 4 pieces cube steaks
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 1 yellow onion yellow onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Pound steaks with a meat tenderizer for 5-10 seconds on each side.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of butter to a skillet and cook sliced onions until translucent, then remove.
  • Season steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika; cook 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Add remaining butter, flour, and whisk for 1 minute; then stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, cook until thickened.
  • Return steaks and onions to pan, coat with gravy, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the gravy simmer longer to deepen the taste.
