Ingredients
  

Dry Mix

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat) optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
  • Prepare chicken by cleaning and drying. Dredge in wet marinade, then coat thoroughly in dry mix.
  • Let coated chicken rest a few minutes to set the coating.
  • Heat oil to 170-180°C (340-355°F). Fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 8-15 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure oil is at proper temperature for best crispiness.
