  • 1.75 cups warm water (about 110°F)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 0.25 cup olive oil (plus more for greasing and drizzling)
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Proof yeast in warm water mixed with sugar for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • Mix flour, salt, and olive oil to form sticky dough. Let rise 1-1.5 hours.
  • Prepare toppings: mince garlic, grate Parmesan, and chop herbs if using.
  • Stretch dough in oiled pan, dimple with fingers, and top with garlic, cheese, and herbs.
  • Rise for 20-30 minutes, then bake at 425°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  • Let cool 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
