Instructions
Cut bread into thick slices and arrange in a greased dish.
Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
Pour custard over bread, soak for 30 mins or overnight, then preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 25-30 mins until golden and set. Broil briefly for crispy top if desired.
Sprinkle sugar on top and caramelize with a torch or under broiler. Serve with toppings.
Notes
Ensure the bread is slightly stale for best soaking.
