Instructions
Slice chicken breasts in half, season with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden, then set aside.
Melt butter, add mushrooms and Italian seasoning, cook until mushrooms release water and sear.
Add garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard, stir and reduce by half (3-4 minutes).
Pour in cream, return chicken and mushrooms, cook for 5 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
Notes
Serve with rice or pasta for a complete meal.
