Instructions
Slice chicken breasts in half, season with salt & pepper, and dredge in flour.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden, then set aside.
Melt butter, add mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Cook until mushrooms release water and sear.
Add garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until reduced by half.
Stir in cream, return chicken and mushrooms, cook until heated through and sauce thickens. Season as needed.
Notes
Serve with rice or pasta for a complete meal.
