heavy cream

grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed for desired consistency.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
