Instructions
Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create 4 even pieces.
Mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; dredge chicken in the mixture.
Cook chicken in oil and butter until golden and cooked through; set aside.
Fry mushrooms in butter until golden, add garlic, then pour in stock and cream. Add herbs and simmer until slightly thickened.
Stir in Parmesan, add lemon juice, salt, and pepper; simmer briefly. Return chicken to sauce and serve.
Notes
Adjust lemon juice to taste for brightness.
