Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; sear in olive oil until cooked through. Slice and set aside.
  • Melt butter in the same pan, sauté garlic until golden.
  • Add cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in parmesan until melted and sauce thickens.
  • Return chicken to pan, add cooked pasta, toss to combine, and garnish before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or fresh parsley as garnish.
