Cranberry Pecan Crostini Appetizers

A delightful appetizer combining crunchy crostini with creamy garlic herb cheese, dried cranberries, and pecans, perfect for parties or elegant starters.

Ingredients
  

Bread

  • 1 uncooked Italian baguette
  • 0.25 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste Sea salt & cracked black pepper
  • 1 container Cream cheese flavored with garlic & herbs
  • 0.33 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.33 cup pecan pieces

Garnish

  • to garnish Rosemary, thyme or chives

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Slice baguette diagonally into 1/2"-3/4" slices.
  • Brush slices with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then bake 10 minutes. Flip and bake 8 more minutes until golden. Cool.
  • Spread each slice with cream cheese, top with cranberries and pecans, then garnish with herbs.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the crostini a second time after topping.
