Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Wet ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (or split it half milk and half cream for a richer dish)
  • 1 egg egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Add-ins

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (for topping)

Optional for serving

  • to taste maple syrup and milk for drizzling and serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°C.
  • Mix oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a baking dish.
  • Whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, honey, and vanilla; pour over dry ingredients and stir.
  • Fold in cranberries and apples, sprinkle with brown sugar, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Serve hot with maple syrup and a splash of milk if desired.
