Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 30 oz frozen shredded hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer hash browns, bacon, and cheeses in baking dish. Pour egg mixture over top.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until top is golden and center is set.
  • Let cool 5-10 minutes, garnish with green onions if desired, then slice and serve.

Notes

Let casserole rest before slicing for cleaner cuts. Customize with diced veggies or hot sauce.
