Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup fresh lump crab meat (or well-drained canned)
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • Pinch optional cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and parsley. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Fold in cheddar cheese and crab meat. Add milk until just combined.
  • Drop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional parsley or cayenne before baking.
