  • 0.5 cup butter, (soft/room temperature)
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, (lightly packed)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup coconut, (sweetened and shredded)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix butter, sugar, and flour until crumbly; press into pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Combine topping ingredients; spread over cooled base. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Cool completely, then cut into squares.
